This website is hosted on Vercel. Like most hosting providers, Vercel records standard server logs for security and operations, which can include your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. We do not run analytics scripts, advertising trackers or social media embeds on this site, and the site does not set cookies.

3. How we use information

• To publish reviews, showing the display name, star rating, date and review text you provided.
• To verify a purchase when you ask us to, by checking the document you supply.
• To respond to corrections, disputes, removal requests and questions.
• To operate and secure the website.

We publish only the display name you choose, the rating, the date, the review text and, if you provide them, the machine purchased and your city and state. We never publish your email address, full legal name (unless you choose it as your display name) or any document you send us.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that host our website and email, when required by law, or when necessary to establish or defend legal claims. We do not share verification documents with dealers; if a dealer disputes a verified review, we re-check the document ourselves.

5. Retention

Published reviews remain on the site until you ask us to remove them or we remove them under the Review Policy. Verification documents are kept only as long as needed to make and, if disputed, defend the verification decision. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the matter it concerns.

6. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to correct or delete your review and any personal information we hold about you by emailing contact@machinerydealerreviews.com from the address you used to contact us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, including the right to know what information we hold and the right to request its deletion. We honor such requests as the law requires and do not discriminate against anyone for exercising them.

7. Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

8. Links to other sites

Dealer profiles link to the dealers’ own websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version is posted here with a new effective date.
